Real-life nutrition for gut health, blood sugar, and inflammation
I’ve always been drawn to the connection between food, environment, and health. As a lifelong learner and nature lover, I’ve built my career around helping people feel better in their bodies in ways that are realistic and sustainable.
I’m a Registered Dietitian based in Medford, Massachusetts, and I work with clients experiencing gut issues, autoimmune conditions, and blood sugar imbalances. My approach focuses on supporting the gut, stabilizing blood sugar, and reducing inflammation—without needing to be perfect.
In addition to my clinical work, I’m also a mom to a child with Type 1 Diabetes, which has deeply shaped how I think about nutrition in real life. I understand how challenging it can be to manage health while balancing everything else, and I bring a non-judgmental, practical approach to every client I work with.
Experience & Background
My background includes working in a variety of community and public health settings, including:
- Seafood Watch at the Monterey Bay Aquarium
- WIC programs supporting families in Boston
- The Medford Board of Health, helping improve community health initiatives
These experiences helped shape my belief that nutrition should be accessible, practical, and grounded in real life.
Personal + Professional Insight
Some of the most meaningful learning I’ve done has come from both personal and professional experience. I’m especially familiar with supporting clients dealing with:
- IBS and other gut issues
- autoimmune conditions
- ADHD and anxiety
- hypothyroidism
- anemia
- diabetes
- high cholesterol
I understand how much chronic symptoms can affect your daily life and your family, and I aim to help simplify the path forward.
📚 Always Learning
I’m naturally curious and spend much of my free time reading and learning about the microbiome, nutrition, and overall health. I enjoy staying up to date on emerging research, as well as trying new foods, products, and tools that can support health in a practical way.
🌸 Outside of Work
Outside of my nutrition practice, I spend time working on an organic community farm, trying new foods, skiing and spending time in nature.
