We just LOVED the sculptures, mini golf and tiny farm at Big Stone in Minnetrista, Minnesota.
These big beautiful leaves are purple on their underside. They have a sortoff savory-cinnamon scent. They can be eaten raw, wrap meat or rice in them and chow down.

We went digging for clams while we were on the Cape last Summer. Why dig for clams? Why not! The ocean water is so good for our health, we are electrical beings! I love eating shellfish whenever possible, it is food of the future. Full of minerals, sustainable and delicious.
We grew purple and yellow potatoes this Summer. The purple ones were sprouting from our Farmer Dave’s Farm share so we plopped them into the raised bed and watered them and voila! Lemon balm is one of my favorite plants! I just LOVE the smell of the leaves. The teeny tiny seeds fly out in every direction and find themselves growing all over….in the cracks in the sidewalk and all around the neighborhood.
I like to add herbs to my bouquets. Here is one from last August. Can you smell the dill?
Now that is is winter it is seed sorting time at my house. The anise hyssop smells strong (I love it!) I harvest what I grew and package it up to share with others. Maybe I will sell some of these seeds someday. We like adding little baggies of them in with holiday gifts.
I found this tasty non-dairy kefir at my local Whole Foods Market. It is creamy and delicious and probably contains about 25 Billion Colony forming units of beneficial bacteria.
